This exhibition is organized by the Washburn Gallery in cooperation with Odd Fellows Art & Antiques. In recent years 19th and 20th century anonymous photographs were the subject of several museum exhibitions including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (1998), the Metropolitan Museum of Art (2000), the National Gallery of Art (2007), the Amon Carter Museum (2008) and the Newark Museum (2008). Odd Fellows Art & Antiques has long collected snapshots found in family albums, yard sales and shoeboxes. This exhibition has been selected from their collection and will be augmented by related folk art.
